Odisha to Conduct First-Ever Door-to-Door Survey for Panchayat Voter List

ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏଥର ବିଳମ୍ବରେ ହୋଇପାରେ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ନିର୍ବାଚନ। ୨୦୨୭ ଜନଗଣନା ପରେ ହିଁ ହେବ ଗାଁ ଭୋଟ୍। ଏପ୍ରିଲ-ମେ'ରେ ତ୍ରିସ୍ତରୀୟ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ହେବା ନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନ। ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ପାଇଁ ଡୋର-ଟୁ-ଡୋର ସର୍ଭେ କରି ବୁଥ୍ ଓ୍ୱାଇଜ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯିବ ଭୋଟର ତାଲିକା ।
Odisha is set to conduct a door-to-door survey for the first time to prepare booth-wise electoral rolls ahead of the 2027 three-tier Panchayat elections. According to information shared by the State Election Commission, the rural polls are likely to be held in April-May, instead of the usual schedule, following the completion of the 2027 Census exercise. The new voter list preparation process is aimed at ensuring greater accuracy and updating electoral records at the booth level before villagers head to the polls to elect their representatives.
