କୋଲକାତା ମେଟ୍ରୋ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପରେ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହେଲା ନୂଆ ମାଇଲଖୁଣ୍ଟ। ସଫଳତାର ସହ ଖୋଲିଲା ଖିଦ୍ଦରପୁର-ଭିକ୍ଟୋରିଆ ସୁଡ଼ଙ୍ଗ । ବାଟ ଫିଟାଇଲା ଟନେଲ୍ ବୋରିଂ ମେସିନ ଦୁର୍ଗା । ଏହି ବିଶାଳକାୟ ମେସିନ ଖିଦ୍ଦରପୁରରୁ ନର୍ମାଣାଧୀନ ଭିକ୍ଟୋରିଆ ମେମୋରିଆଲ୍ ମେଟ୍ରୋ ଷ୍ଟେସନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ୧ ହଜାର ୭୨୩ ମିଟର ଦୀର୍ଘ ସୁଡ଼ଙ୍ଗର ଖୋଦେଇ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ରାସ୍ତା ଫିଟାଇଛି ।
The Kolkata Metro Project has achieved a major milestone with the successful breakthrough of the Khidderpore-Victoria tunnel. The massive Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Durga completed the excavation work and opened the route between Khidderpore and the under-construction Victoria Memorial Metro Station. The machine successfully excavated and completed the construction of a 1,723-metre-long tunnel, marking a significant advancement in the city's metro expansion project. The achievement is expected to boost the progress of Kolkata's underground metro network and improve future urban connectivity in the city.
