Odisha Floods: 18 Districts Affected, Over 5.93 Lakh People Impacted, Says SRC

ଚଳିତ ବନ୍ୟାରେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ୧୮ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୯୫ଟି ବ୍ଲକ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଛି । ୪୭୨ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ୧୩ଶହ ୦୧ ଗାଁ ବନ୍ୟାରେ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଛି । ୧୪ଟି ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳର ୧୭୬ଟି ୱାର୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଛି । ଏହାସହିତ ମୋଟ ୫ଲକ୍ଷ ୯୩ ହଜାରରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ରିଲିଫ କମିଶନର । ବନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ୧ ଲକ୍ଷ ୭୬ ହଜାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଛି। ୧୬ ହଜାର ୧୮୭ ହେକ୍ଟର ଜମିରେ ଫସଲ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଛି । ୧୩ଶହ ୫୨ ଘର ଭାଙ୍ଗିଥିବା ନେଇ SRC ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ୪ଶହ ୭୬ ରିଲିଫ କ୍ୟାମ୍ପରେ ୧ ଲକ୍ଷ ୬୬ ହଜାର ଲୋକ ରହୁଛନ୍ତି । ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରନ୍ଧା ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି।

The Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has said that the ongoing floods have affected 18 districts across Odisha, impacting 95 blocks, 472 gram panchayats, 1,301 villages, and 176 wards in 14 urban areas. More than 5.93 lakh people have been affected by the floods.
According to the SRC, around 1.76 lakh people have been evacuated from flood-hit areas. The floods have damaged crops spread over 16,187 hectares of land, while 1,352 houses have been reported damaged. At present, 1.66 lakh people are staying in 476 relief camps, where cooked food is being provided to the affected families.
