ବିଲ ମଝିରେ ଘରକିଣି ଲୋକେ ହନ୍ତସନ୍ତ। ଘରୁ ବାହାରିଲେ ଖାଲି ପାଣି ଆଉ ପାଣି। ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀରେ ଏବେ ରାଜଧାନୀ ଉପକଣ୍ଠର ଏକାଧିକ ଆପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟ ସହ ଡୁପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ। ଜଟଣୀ ହରିରାଜପୁର ଛକ ଠାରୁ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସୁନ୍ଦରପଦା ରାସ୍ତାରେ ଥିବା ଆପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟ ଗୁଡିକ ଏବେ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀରେ। ଆପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ରାସ୍ତାଠାରୁ ଅତି ତଳିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ହୋଇଥିବା ଯୋଗୁ ବର୍ଷାଜଳ ସହିତ ଡ୍ରେନେଜ୍ ପାଣି ନିଷ୍କାସନ ନହେଇପାରି ସେଠାରେ ଜମିରହୁଛି। ଯାହାଫଳରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଘରୁ ବାହାରିବାରେ ସମସ୍ୟା ଦେଖାଦେଉଛି। ଏହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ଆପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଜନବସତି ମଧ୍ୟ ମାଡ଼ି ଆସିଛି। ତେଣୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଏହି ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ସମସ୍ୟାର ସମାଧାନ ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ଏକ ମାଷ୍ଟରପ୍ଲାନ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବା ସହିତ ଏହାର ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ସମାଧାନ ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବାସିନ୍ଦାମାନେ ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି।

Several apartments and duplex houses on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar have been facing severe waterlogging due to continuous rainfall. Residents living along the Jatani Harirajpur Chhak to Bhubaneswar Sundarpada road are struggling as water has accumulated around their homes, making it difficult to move out.

Locals say the apartments were built in low-lying areas below the main road level, causing rainwater and drainage water to remain stagnant due to poor water discharge. With residential development increasing in the area, residents have demanded a master plan and a permanent solution from the government to address the recurring waterlogging problem.
