Hundreds of acres of farmland have been submerged due to rainwater in Badamba area of Cuttack district, damaging vegetable crops worth lakhs of rupees. Large stretches of vegetable fields have been washed away by floodwaters, leaving farmers distressed and worried about their losses.

Continuous rainfall has caused widespread crop damage, with farmers fearing distress sales due to the loss of produce. Farmers have demanded an immediate assessment of the damage in waterlogged fields and government support to help them recover from the crisis.
