ଚିଲିକା ମଝିରେ ୪୦ମିନିଟ୍ ଧରି ଫସି ରହିଛି ଡ଼ଙ୍ଗା । ଚିଲିକା ସାତପଡ଼ାରୁ ଜହ୍ନିକୁଦା ଘାଟ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଆସୁଥିଲା ଡ଼ଙ୍ଗା । ଡଙ୍ଗାରେ ରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ୪୦ ଜଣ ଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ୨୫ଟି ମୋଟର ସାଇକେଲ ଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି। ମେସିନର ଯାନ୍ତ୍ରିକ ତ୍ରୁଟି କାରଣରୁ ଚିଲିକା ମଁଏସା ଗାଁ କୁଦ ନିକଟରେ ଫସି ରହିଛି ଡଙ୍ଗା। ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଁ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ନିବେଦନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଚିଲିକାରେ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକପାଣି ଥିବାରୁ ଭୟଭୀତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ଯାତ୍ରୀ।

A passenger boat remained stranded for nearly 40 minutes in Chilika Lake after developing a mechanical fault near Mainsa village. The boat was travelling from Satapada towards Jahnikuda Ghat and was carrying around 40 passengers along with 25 motorcycles.

Passengers appealed for immediate rescue as the boat remained stuck in the middle of the lake. With high water levels in Chilika, those onboard were reportedly gripped by fear while waiting for assistance.
