ଯୌନ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ମାମଲାରେ ବଢ଼ିଲା ନୟାଗଡ଼ ଶରଣକୂଳ ଥାନା IICଙ୍କ ଅଡୁଆ । ସିଧା ଚାକିରିରୁ ନିଲମ୍ବନ କଲେ ପୋଲିସ ଡିଜି । ସଂପୃକ୍ତ ଥାନା ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ଯୌନ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଣିଥିଲେ ଜଣେ ମହିଳା । ଅଭିଯୋଗ ପରେ ସୁଜିତ କୁମାରଙ୍କୁ ଥାନା ଦାୟିତ୍ବରୁ ହଟାଇ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ତାସହ ଘଟଣାର ତଦନ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ନୟାଗଡ ଡିଏସପି ସଙ୍ଘମିତ୍ରା ନାୟକଙ୍କୁ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା । ଶରଣକୁଳ ଥାନା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗକାରିଣୀଙ୍କ ଜମିଜମା ବିବାଦ ଥିଲା। ଏହାକୁ ସମାଧାନ ପାଇଁ ମହିଳା ଜଣକ ଥାନାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ହେଲେ ଘଟଣାରେ ସମାଧାନ ହୋଇନଥିଲା ବରଂ ଥାନାଅଧିକାରୀ ତାଙ୍କୁ କୌଣସି ଭଡ଼ା ଘରେ ଜୋରଜବରଦସ୍ତି ଶାରିରୀକ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ରଖିଥିଲେ। ଏପରିକି ଏହି ଘଟଣା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ କାହା ଆଗରେ କହିଲେ ଜୀବନରୁ ମାରିଦେବାର ଧମକ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ତେବେ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଘଟଣାକୁ ନେଇ ସୁଜିତ କୁମାର ଦାସ କହିଥିଲେ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ସହ ଅଭିଯୋଗକାରିଣୀଙ୍କ ଜମିଜମା ବିବାଦ ରହିଛି। ଏହାକୁ ନେଇ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ପରେ ମହିଳାଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରି କୋର୍ଟ ଚାଲାଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସେହି ରାଗରେ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଣିଥିବା କହିଥିଲେ ଆଇଆଇସି।...

The Director General of Police has suspended Sharanakul Police Station IIC Sujit Kumar Das in connection with allegations of sexual harassment and rape levelled by a woman in Nayagarh district. The complainant alleged that after approaching the police officer regarding a land dispute, she was allegedly subjected to forced physical relations and threats. Following the complaint, Sujit Kumar Das was removed from his post, while Nayagarh DSP Sanghamitra Nayak was entrusted with the investigation. The suspended officer, however, denied the allegations, claiming that the complaint was filed due to resentment over earlier police action in a land dispute case.
