Mahanadi Water Level Rises at Mundali as Floodwater from Hirakud Reaches After 40 Hours

ମୁଣ୍ଡଳୀରେ ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଛି ମହାନଦୀ ଜଳସ୍ତର। ହୀରାକୁଦ ଖୋଲିଥିବା ୨୨ ଟି ଗେଟର ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ଆସି ମୁଣ୍ଡଳୀରେ ପହଁଚିଛି। ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ କ୍ରମେ ୨୨ଟି ଗେଟ ଖୋଲାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଯାହା ମୁଣ୍ଡଳୀରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୦ ଘଣ୍ଟା ସମୟ ଲାଗିଛି।
The water level of the Mahanadi is gradually increasing at Mundali after floodwater released through 22 gates of Hirakud Dam reached the downstream point. The gates were opened in phases on Friday, and it took nearly 40 hours for the released water to reach Mundali.
