The Odisha Government has suspended IFS officer Sangram Behera following his arrest in connection with the ACF Soumya Ranjan death case. The suspension order was issued by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Sangram Behera, who was serving as the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) at the time of the incident, has been accused of involvement in the death of Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan. According to the source, he was arrested after remaining absconding for a prolonged period.
