Week-Long Storm and Rain Alert in Odisha, Orange Warning for 16 Districts

ସପ୍ତାହେ ଯାଏଁ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଝଡ଼ବର୍ଷା ଆଲର୍ଟ । ଆଜି ୧୬ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଝଡବର୍ଷା ସହ ୪୦ ରୁ ୫୦ କିମି ବେଗରେ ପବନ ବହିବା ନେଇ ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି । ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର, ଭଦ୍ରକ, ଯାଜପୁର୍, କେନ୍ଦ୍ରପଡା, ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର, କଟକ, କେନ୍ଦୁଝର, ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜ, କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି, କନ୍ଧମାଳ, ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର, ରାୟଗଡା, କୋରାପୁଟ, ମାଲକାନଗିରି, ଗଜପତି ଓ ଗଞ୍ଜମକୁ ସତର୍କ ରହିବାକୁ କୁହାଯିବା ସହ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି। କନ୍ଧମାଳ, କୋରାପୁଟ ଓ ରାୟଗଡାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଉପକୂଳ ଓ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡିଶାର କିଛି ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୟେଲୋ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି। ଆସନ୍ତା ୩ ତାରିଖ ଯାଏଁ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏହିଭଳି ବାର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଥିବା ନେଇ ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପକ୍ଷରୁ କୁହାଯାଇଛି।

The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a week-long thunderstorm and rainfall alert for Odisha, warning of adverse weather conditions across several parts of the state. An Orange Warning has been issued for 16 districts, with gusty surface winds reaching speeds of 40 to 50 kmph accompanied by thunderstorms and rain.
The districts placed under Orange Warning include Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati and Ganjam. Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in Kandhamal, Koraput and Rayagada districts.
The weather office has also issued a Yellow Warning for several districts in coastal and western Odisha. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, similar weather conditions are expected to continue across the state till July 3.
