A horrific road accident took place near Gangadharpur on National Highway-149 under Samal Police Station in Odisha's Angul district, where a fly ash-laden Hyva collided head-on with an empty truck and burst into flames. One truck driver lost his life while the other sustained critical injuries. According to the report, the Hyva was travelling from Khamar when it collided with the truck coming from the Pitiri side. The tragic crash has shocked the area, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
