A major police operation was carried out in Dhanapur village under Badagada Police Station limits in Odisha's Ganjam district, where seven persons were arrested for allegedly targeting a family on suspicion of practising Gunigaredi (witchcraft). According to the source text, villagers had been harassing the family and later allegedly locked the house of Kailash Gouda, preventing the family from moving freely.
