Hirakud Dam Water Level Falls as Outflow Exceeds Inflow

ଖସୁଛି ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳସ୍ତର। ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରକୁ ଇନଫ୍ଲୋ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଉଥିବାବେଳେ ଆଉଟଫ୍ଲୋ ଅଧିକ ରହିଛି। ଆଜି ସକାଳ ୯ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୨ ଲକ୍ଷ ୩୭ ହଜାର ୯୩୮ କ୍ୟୁସେକ ଜଳ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଛି ଏବଂ ୩ ଲକ୍ଷ ୮୭ ହଜାର ୬୬ କ୍ୟୁସେକ ଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି। ଏବେ ହୀରାକୁଦ ଡ୍ୟାମ୍ ଜଳସ୍ତର ୬୨୪ ଫୁଟ୍ ରହିଛି। ୨୨ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି। ନିଷ୍କାସନ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଜଳ ପ୍ରବେଶର ପରିମାଣ କମ୍ ରହିଥିବାରୁ ଆଗକୁ ଜଳସ୍ତର ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇବ ବୋଲି ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ ଆକଳନ କରିଛି।
A major update has emerged on Hirakud Dam, with the reservoir's water level continuing to decline. As of 9:00 AM, the dam was receiving an inflow of 2,37,938 cusecs, while the outflow stood at 3,87,066 cusecs, resulting in a gradual drop in the reservoir level.
