A four-year-old child died at Patnagarh Sub-Divisional Hospital in Balangir district, triggering tension on the hospital premises. The child's family alleged that timely treatment was not provided because doctors were on protest, leading to the child's death.
Hospital authorities, however, rejected the allegation, stating that the child was brought dead and that the death was not caused by medical negligence. Following the incident, police reached the hospital to bring the situation under control.
