Rajya Sabha MP Debashish Samantaray has said the BJP is targeting the Mayor's post along with several corporator seats in the upcoming Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) elections. Speaking at a felicitation programme organised by the district BJP, he urged party workers to work unitedly to strengthen the party's presence in Cuttack. Samantaray also said that the BJP had welcomed him like a family and given him immense affection and respect, adding that he would work shoulder-to-shoulder with party workers with the same enthusiasm and commitment to achieve success in the civic polls.
