ଆମ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୁରାଣ କେବଳ ଏକ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥ ନୁହେଁ, ଆମ ମହିଳା ଓ ଝିଅ ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗାଇଡଲାଇନ, ଆମ ସ୍ୱାଭିମାନ, ସମ୍ମାନ ଆମ ସମାନତା ଓ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦିଏ। ବାହାରେ ଏବେ ଯେଉଁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୁରାଣ ମିଳୁଛି ଓ ବଳରାମ ଦାସ ଯେଉଁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୁରାଣ ଲେଖିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ଭିତରେ କିଛି ପ୍ରଭେଦ ରହୁଛି। ତେଣୁ ମୂଳ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୁରାଣକୁ ଫେରିଲେ, ତାହା ବିଶ୍ୱକୁ ଶକ୍ତିର ଏକ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେବ। ଏହା ଉପରେ ଅଧିକ ଗବେଷଣା ପାଇଁ ଗବେଷକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି କହିଲେ ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତଥା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଭାତୀ ପରିଡ଼ା।
Odisha Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Pravati Parida said that Lakshmi Purana is not merely a religious scripture but a guiding text for women, promoting self-respect, dignity, equality and cleanliness. She stated that the versions of Lakshmi Purana currently in circulation differ from the original work written by Balaram Das, and emphasised that returning to the authentic text would present a powerful philosophy to the world. She also informed that researchers have been entrusted with carrying out further study on the original Lakshmi Purana.
