The doctors' agitation entered its second day in Odisha, severely affecting healthcare services across the state amid an ongoing dispute between the Odisha Government and the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA). Patients were seen struggling in hospital corridors, while in some places even post-mortem examinations could not be conducted due to the absence of doctors. Doctors have warned that unless the government immediately fulfils at least three to four of their key demands, the situation could become more serious. Reports on the impact of the agitation have emerged from Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kendrapara, and Kandhamal.
