Cooked Food Distribution Banned on Puri's Bada Danda During Rath Yatra

ରଥଯାତ୍ରାରେ ବଡ଼ଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ରନ୍ଧାଖାଦ୍ୟ ବଣ୍ଟନ ମନା । ରନ୍ଧା ଖାଦ୍ୟ ବଦଳରେ ବଣ୍ଟାଯାଇ ପାରିବ ଶୁଖିଲା ଖାଦ୍ୟ । ଏନେଇ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛି ନଗର ଉନ୍ନୟନ ବିଭାଗ। ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସୂଚନା ଫଳକ ଲଗାଯାଇ ଖାଦ୍ୟ, ପାନୀୟ, ଚିକିତ୍ସା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଯିବ । ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଓ ନଗର ଉନ୍ନୟନ ବିଭାଗର ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଉଷା ପାଢ଼ୀ ପୁରୀ ଯାଇ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତିର ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁ ଓ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ସୁସ୍ଥ ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ସହରର ସମସ୍ତ ନଳାକୁ ସଫା କରାଯାଇଥିବାବେଳେ ୨୪ଟି ପାର୍କିଂ ସ୍ଥଳ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଛି । ୩୦ ଟି ଖାଲୁଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରାଯାଇ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଶକ୍ତି ସମ୍ପର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପମ୍ପ ସେଟ ରଖାଯାଇଛି ।

The Housing & Urban Development Department has prohibited the distribution of cooked food on Bada Danda (Grand Road) during the Rath Yatra in Puri. According to the directive, only dry food may be distributed. Information boards will also be installed to guide devotees on food, drinking water and medical facilities.
The review of Rath Yatra preparations was conducted in Puri by Usha Padhee, Additional Chief Secretary of the Housing & Urban Development Department. The focus has been on ensuring a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage for devotees and visitors.
According to the source, all major drains in the city have been cleaned, 24 parking facilities have been arranged, and 30 low-lying areas have been identified where high-capacity pump sets have been deployed to tackle possible waterlogging during the festival.
