Panic gripped Buddha Vihar Apartment in Bhubaneswar after more than 15 masked assailants, allegedly armed with swords and other sharp weapons, entered the residential complex and attacked people on Friday night. The incident reportedly occurred at around 9:30 PM, leaving multiple residents injured.
According to the source, the son of Gouranga Das, Secretary of the apartment association, was chased and attacked and is undergoing treatment in hospital. Another youth, Shubham Swaraj, was also injured in the assault. A video of the attack has reportedly gone viral on social media.
The source states that the attackers allegedly entered the apartment complex and assaulted people they encountered. Police are expected to investigate the incident and the circumstances surrounding the attack.
