Bridge Submerged as Floodwaters Cut Off Connectivity in Kandhamal After Heavy Rain

ତିନି ଦିନ ହେଲାଣି କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଜାରି ରହିଛି, ଫଳରେ କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପାଣି ପାଣି ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ସାଲୁଙ୍କି ନଦୀରେ ବଢ଼ି ପାଣି ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଥିବାରୁ ନଦୀଖଣ୍ଡିସାହି ରୁ ଡାକପାଲାକୁ ସଂଯୋଗ କରୁଥିବା ବ୍ରିଜ ଉପରେ ଦୁଇ ଫୁଟ ଉଚ୍ଚର ପାଣି ଯାଉଛି ଏବଂ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ ବିଛିନ୍ନ ହେଇଛି । ସେହିଭଳି ଅନେକ ଜାଗାରେ ଗଛ ପଡ଼ି ରାସ୍ତା ଅବରୋଧ ହେଇଛି ।
Three days of continuous rainfall have left Kandhamal district flooded, with the rising Salunki River submerging the bridge connecting Nadikhandisahi and Dakapala under nearly two feet of water, disrupting road connectivity. Persistent rain has also caused trees to fall across several roads, blocking traffic and affecting normal movement in different parts of the district as floodwaters continue to rise.
