Bhargavi and Devi Rivers Cross Danger Level, Flood Threat Intensifies in Puri

ପୁରୀ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଦୁଇ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ନଦୀ ଭାର୍ଗବୀ ଓ ଦେବୀ ନଦୀ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି । କୁଶଭଦ୍ରା , ଧନୁଆ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀ ନଦୀରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି। ଭାର୍ଗବୀ ନଦୀର ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ୧୦.୪୨ ମିଟର ଥିବା ବେଳେ ବଳଙ୍ଗା ଠାରେ ଭାର୍ଗବୀ ନଦୀରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର ୧୧.୨୫ ମିଟରରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି। ସେହିଭଳି ଅସ୍ତରଙ୍ଗ ବାଉରିଆଜଣ ଠାରେ ଦେବୀ ନଦୀରେ ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ୪.୯୫ ମିଟର ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏବେ ୫.୦୮ ମିଟର ଜଳସ୍ତର ରହିଛି ।
The water levels of the Bhargavi and Devi rivers in Puri district have risen above the danger level, heightening flood concerns. At Balanga, the Bhargavi River is flowing at 11.25 metres, exceeding its danger mark of 10.42 metres, while at Bauriajang in Astaranga, the Devi River has reached 5.08 metres, above its danger level of 4.95 metres. Meanwhile, water levels in the Kushabhadra, Dhanua and Prachi rivers are also rising, adding to the flood risk across the district. #OdishaTV#OTV
