The Tel River is witnessing a rapid rise in water level as floodwater gushes through Subarnapur at a high velocity. Since the Tel River merges with the Mahanadi at Rameswar Sangam, there is a possibility of a slight increase in the downstream water level of the Mahanadi. Keeping the evolving flood situation in view, the district administration is maintaining a close watch and continuously monitoring the river conditions.
