₹55.69 Lakh Scam: Two Engineers, Contractor Arrested in Parlakhemundi Tank Restoration Case

ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ଟ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୫୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ୬୯ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ହେରଫେର ହୋଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସର ବଡ଼ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ। ମାମଲାରେ ପୂର୍ବତନ ଜୁନିୟର ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟର ଡି. ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଟିର, ସହକାରୀ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସଞ୍ଜୀବ ଚମ୍ପତି ଏବଂ ଠିକାଦାର ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପାଣିଗ୍ରାହୀଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତଦନ୍ତରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଅନିୟମିତତା ଓ ସରକାରୀ ଅର୍ଥର ଅପବ୍ୟବହାର ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଥିବା ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ କହିଛି। ଘଟଣାରେ ଅଧିକ ତଦନ୍ତ ଜାରି ରହିଛି। ଏହି ମାମଲାରେ ଆଉ କେହି ସଂପୃକ୍ତ ଅଛନ୍ତି କି ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଦିଗରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଖୋଳତାଡ଼ କରୁଛି।

Odisha Vigilance has arrested former Junior Engineer D. Yudhisthir, Assistant Engineer Sanjeeb Champati and contractor Surendra Panigrahi over the alleged embezzlement of approximately ₹55.69 lakh in the Pattanaik Tank restoration project at Parlakhemundi. According to Vigilance, the investigation revealed irregularities in the execution of the work and misuse of government funds. Further investigation is underway to determine whether any other individuals were involved in the alleged financial irregularities.
