Youngest Daitapati Begins Anasara Seva at Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri
ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅଣସର ସେବାରେ କୁନି ଦଇତାପତି। ଅଣସର ତାଟିକୁ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି କୁନି ଦଇତା। ସେବକ ଭାବରେ ଗଣତି ହୋଇ ସେବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଦୋଳମଣ୍ଡପ ସାହିର ଶିବାନୀ ଦାସ ମହାପାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ଶ୍ରୀଅଂଶ ଦାସ ମହାପାତ୍ର। ସେ ଅନବସରର ଷଷ୍ଠ ଦିନ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଓଷ ଲାଗି ଦିନ ଅଣସର ପିଣ୍ଡିରେ ବିଜେ ଶ୍ରୀଜିଉଙ୍କୁ ପାଉଣା ଭେଟି ଦେବା ସହ ଚକଟା ଭୋଗ ସେବନ କରି ସର୍ବକନିଷ୍ଠ ଦଇତାପତି ସେବକର ମାନ୍ୟତା ପାଇଛନ୍ତି।

A young Daitapati servitor, Sriansh Das Mahapatra of Dolamandap Sahi, has begun serving Lord Jagannath during the Anasara rituals at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri. On the sixth day of Anasara, observed as Osha Lagi, he entered the Anasara chamber wearing the traditional Daitapati attire alongside his grandfather Jagannath Das Mahapatra, elder Bhawani Das Mahapatra, and his father. He offered Pauna to the Holy Deities, partook of Chakata Bhoga, and was recognised as the youngest Daitapati servitor. As per the hereditary Daitapati tradition, children are formally counted as Daitas 21 days after birth and become eligible to participate in the sacred Anasara seva when Lord Jagannath remains in seclusion following Snana Purnima.
