ଆଉ ଦିନକ ପରେ ବାହୁଡ଼ା ଯାତ୍ରା । ଯାତ୍ରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସବୁ ଯାଗାରେ ରଥକୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ମୋଡ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ । ହେଲେ କେନ୍ଦୁଝରର ବିଶ୍ବ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ବୃହତ୍ତମ ରଥର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ମୋଡ଼ ହୁଏନି। ଏଠାକାର ରୀତି, ନୀତି ଓ ପରମ୍ପରା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଏହି ବିଶାଳ ରଥର ମୋଡ଼ ବଦଳେ ନାହିଁ। ଏଠାରେ କେବଳ ରଥ ଉପରେ ଥିବା ଆସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ମୋଡ କରାଯାଏ। କାରଣ କେନ୍ଦୁଝର ରଥ ସମୟରେ ରଥ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦିଗକୁ ମାଉସୀ ମା ଘରକୁ ଯାଇଥାଏ। ଆଉ ବାହୁଡାରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣରୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗକୁ ଆସେ ତେଣୁ ଏଠାରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ମୋଡ ନହୋଇ ଆସ୍ଥାନ ଉତ୍ତର ମୋଡ ହୋଇଥାଏ ଓ ତା ସହ ରଥ ରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ପାର୍ଶ୍ବ ଦେବତା ମାନଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ତର ମୋଡ ବା ଦିଗ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହୋଇଥାଏ। ବାହୁଡ଼ା ପାଇଁ ସବୁ ପ୍ରକାର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଶେଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି । ଖାଲି ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବାହୁଡ଼ା ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ।...

A unique tradition sets Keonjhar's world-famous giant Rath apart from other Rath Yatras in Odisha. Ahead of the Bahuda Yatra, the chariot is not given the customary Dakshina Moda (southward turn). According to the temple's age-old rituals and traditions, only the Aasthana on the chariot and the accompanying deities are turned northward. Since the Rath travels from north to south during the Rath Yatra and returns from south to north during the Bahuda Yatra, the chariot itself does not change direction. Preparations for the Bahuda Yatra have reached the final stage, with devotees eagerly awaiting the grand return journey.
