Two minor boys, identified as Biswajit Mirdha of Jhankarapada village and Kiran Kumbhar of Chauriapadar village, died after being struck by lightning while playing cricket in Sagada under Manamunda Police Station in Odisha's Boudh district. According to the source, the boys were playing with friends in the village playground when rain began, prompting them to take shelter under a tamarind tree. Moments later, a lightning strike hit the area, causing both boys to collapse and resulting in the tragic incident.
