Thousands of Women Rally for a Liquor-Free Nabarangpur, Warn of Bigger Protest

ହଜାର ହଜାର ମହିଳା... ହାତରେ ଲାଠି... ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥରେ ବିଶାଳ ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରା... ଆଉ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ଘେରାଉ। ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁରକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମଦମୁକ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଘୋଷଣା ଦାବିରେ ରାଜରାସ୍ତାକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇଛନ୍ତି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ନାରୀ ମହାସଂଘର ସଦସ୍ୟା। ଦାବି ପୂରଣ ନହେଲେ ଆସନ୍ତା ୧୫ ଦିନ ପରେ ଆହୁରି ବଡ଼ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନର ଚେତାବନୀ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
Thousands of women members of the District Nari Mahasangha took out a massive rally carrying sticks and marched along the National Highway in Nabarangpur, Odisha. The protesters later staged a demonstration outside the District Collector's Office, demanding that Nabarangpur be declared a completely liquor-free district. The women warned that if their demand is not fulfilled, they will launch an even larger agitation after 15 days. The protest highlights their continued campaign against liquor and their call for stricter action from the district administration.
