Tension gripped Gurdapada village under the Ghantapada police station limits in Odisha's Boudh district after a murder triggered violent protests. According to the report, relatives of the deceased allegedly vandalised and set fire to the accused's house and also cremated the victim's body in front of the residence. The deceased, Rajkumar Rana, was reportedly murdered on Friday over previous enmity. Police have already arrested the accused in connection with the murder, but the incident led to unrest in the village.
