Taladhwaja Rath Takes Dakshina Moda Ahead of Lord Jagannath's Bahuda Yatra

ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ତାରିଖ ଦିନ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ ବାହୁଡ଼ା ଯାତ୍ରା। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଗଲାଣି। ଆଜି ଓ ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ଭକ୍ତମାନେ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିବେ। ବଳଭଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ତାଳଧ୍ବଜ ରଥର ଦକ୍ଷିଣମୋଡ଼ କରାଯାଉଛି।
Preparations have begun for Lord Jagannath's Bahuda Yatra, scheduled for July 24, in Puri. As part of the traditional rituals, Lord Balabhadra's Taladhwaja Rath is undergoing Dakshina Moda (Southward Turn). Devotees will continue to have darshan of the deities today and tomorrow before the Bahuda Yatra. The ritual marks an important step in the return journey of the Holy Trinity during the annual Rath Yatra.
