The Supreme Court refused to grant an urgent hearing on a petition concerning the alleged police action during the CJP protest in Delhi. The plea was linked to demonstrations over the NEET issue and demands for reforms in the National Testing Agency (NTA).
During the hearing, the Chief Justice remarked that the court would not consider requests based solely on video footage without following the prescribed legal procedure. The petitioner's lawyer had sought to present videos alleging excessive police action against protesting students.
