Sudden hill runoff floods homes and leaves families stranded in Koida

ପାହାଡ଼ରୁ ହଠାତ୍ ମାଡ଼ି ଆସିଲା ନାଲି ପାଣି। ଶୋଇଥିବା ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଘରରେ ପଶିଲା ପାଣି। ମାତ୍ର କେଇ ଘଣ୍ଟାର ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷାରେ ବଦଳି ଗଲା କୋଇଡା ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଚିତ୍ର। ପାହାଡରୁ ଏତେ ମାତ୍ରାରେ ପାଣି ମାଡ଼ି ଆସିଲା ଯେ ଲୋକେ ଶୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଘର ଭିତରେ ପଶିଗଲା ବର୍ଷା ଜଳ। ଅନେକ ପରିବାର ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ରହିଛନ୍ତି।
A sudden surge of muddy water rushed down from the hills into residential areas of Koida after just a few hours of continuous rainfall. The floodwater entered houses while residents were asleep, drastically changing the situation in the area within a short span of time. Several families remain stranded as their homes continue to be surrounded by floodwater.
