କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଶିକ୍ଷାମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନଙ୍କ ଇସ୍ତଫା ପରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ରାଜନୀତିରେ ଜୋର୍ ଧରିଲା ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନିତ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦ ଗଣ୍ଡଙ୍କ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦାବି। ବିଜେଡି ସୁପ୍ରିମୋ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ଆଜି ନୀତି ନୈତିକତା ପାଠ ପଢାଇ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନଙ୍କ ରାସ୍ତା ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବାକୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନିତ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦ ଗଣ୍ଡଙ୍କୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣେ ବିରୋଧୀ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଆଉ ପାଦେ ଆଗକୁ ଯାଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ସାତ ଦିନର ଅଲଟିମେଟମ ଶୁଣାଇଛନ୍ତି। ନହେଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦାବିରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ବନ୍ଦ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ଚେତାବନୀ ଦେଇଛି। ବିଜେପି ଏହାର କଡ଼ା ଜବାବ ଦେଇ କହିଛି, ନବୀନ ନିଜ ଶାସନ କାଳ ଭିତରେ କେତେ ଉଦାହରଣ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରଥମେ ନିଜକୁ ପଚାରନ୍ତୁ।
The demand for the resignation of Odisha's School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond has gathered momentum following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. BJD president Naveen Patnaik urged Gond to follow Pradhan's example on moral grounds, while the Congress issued a seven-day ultimatum to the state government, warning of an Odisha bandh if the Chief Minister and the minister do not resign. Responding to the criticism, the BJP hit back, asking Naveen Patnaik to reflect on the precedents set during his own tenure in office.
