Two youths were swept away by the strong current of the Brahmani River while bathing at Kakudi bathing ghat in Talcher. Local residents managed to rescue Rahul Das and rushed him to a hospital, while Om Pattnaik remains missing. Fire Services and the local police have reached the spot and are continuing an intensive search operation. The incident occurred when a group of youths from Talcher Town had gone to the river for a bath, and two of them were caught in the strong current. Authorities are continuing efforts to trace the missing youth.
