Odisha Floods: 20 Districts Affected, Over 7.05 Lakh People Hit, Says Minister
ରାଜ୍ୟର ୨୦ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୧୦୦ଟି ବ୍ଲକ ବନ୍ୟାରେ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଛି। ୫୩୯ଟି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ୧,୪୫୮ଟି ଗାଁ ସହ ୧୪ଟି ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳର ୧୭୬ଟି ୱାର୍ଡରେ ବନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଭାବ ଦେଖିକାବୁ ମିଳିଛି । ବନ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁଁ ୭ ଲକ୍ଷ ୫ ହଜାରରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଥିବାବେଳେ, ୧ ଲକ୍ଷ ୮୯ ହଜାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଛି। ୫୨୦ଟି ରିଲିଫ କ୍ୟାମ୍ପରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧ ଲକ୍ଷ ୮୨ ହଜାର ଲୋକ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏହାଛଡ଼ା, ୨୪ ହଜାର ୮୯୬ ହେକ୍ଟର ଚାଷଜମିରେ ଫସଲ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଥିବାବେଳେ ୧,୩୫୩ଟି ଘର କ୍ଷତିଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିବା ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ରାଜସ୍ବ ଓ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ପରିଚାଳନା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ପୂଜାରୀ । ବନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର, ରିଲିଫ ଓ ପୁନର୍ବାସ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଜୋରଦାର ଭାବେ ଜାରି ରହିଛି ।

The flood situation in Odisha has affected 20 districts, 100 blocks, 539 gram panchayats, 1,458 villages, and 176 wards across 14 urban areas, according to Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari. More than 7.05 lakh people have been impacted by the floods.
The Minister said 1.89 lakh people have been evacuated to safer locations, while nearly 1.82 lakh people are taking shelter in 520 relief camps. Floodwaters have damaged crops across 24,896 hectares of farmland, and 1,353 houses have been reported damaged. The state government has intensified rescue, relief, and rehabilitation operations in the affected areas.
