No Fitness, No Permit? STA Warns of Vehicle Seizure Under New Road Safety Rules

In a major step to reduce road accidents, the State Transport Authority (STA) has issued a new circular introducing stricter enforcement against traffic rule violations. Under the revised guidelines, vehicles found operating without a valid Fitness Certificate, Insurance, or Permit may be seized instead of only attracting monetary penalties. The STA has also directed authorities to take stringent action against habitual offenders, reinforcing the government's commitment to improving road safety and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
