No Fertiliser Shortage in Odisha, Adequate Urea Stock Available: Minister Pradeep Bal Samanta

ୟୁରିଆ ସାର ସଙ୍କଟକୁ ନେଇ ସମବାୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ବଳସାମନ୍ତଙ୍କ ବଡ଼ ବୟାନ । କହିଛନ୍ତି, ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ସାରର ସଙ୍କଟ ନାହିଁ। ସାର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପାକ୍ସରେ ମହଜୁଦ୍ ଅଛି। ଏବେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ ୮୧ ହଜାର ୮୧୦ ମେଟ୍ରିକ୍ ଟନ୍ ସାର ପାଇଛୁ। ଏବେ ସବୁ ଚାଷୀ ସାର ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଭିଡ଼ ହେଉଛି। ତାକୁ ନଜର ରଖି ଯେମିତି ବେଆଇନ କାରବାର ନହେବା ତାଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖାଯାଇଛି। ସେହିପରି ୟୁରିଆରେ ଯାହା ସ୍ପେସିଫିକେସନ୍ ଥିଲା ଏବେର ସାରରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେଇଆ ସ୍ପେସିଫିକେସନ୍ ଅଛି। ସେହି ଆଧାରରେ ଚାଷୀ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବାପାଇଁ ସରକାର କହିଛନ୍ତି। ଏବର୍ଷ ଆମେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୃଷି ବିଭାଗ ଠାରୁ ୬୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସାର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛୁ। ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ଜାହାଜ ଚଳାଚଳରେ ସମସ୍ୟା ପାଇଁ କିଛିଟା ସମସ୍ୟା ଉପୁଜିଥିଲା। ଆମେ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ହିତରେ ଅଛୁ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ସମବାୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ।

Odisha Cooperation Minister Pradeep Bal Samanta has dismissed concerns over a urea shortage in the state, stating that there is no fertiliser crisis and adequate stock is available at every PACS (Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society). He said Odisha has received 1,81,810 metric tonnes of fertiliser so far, and the current rush is due to increased demand from farmers during the cultivation season. The government is closely monitoring distribution to prevent any illegal trading. The minister also clarified that the quality and specifications of the available urea remain unchanged. He added that Odisha has already received 60% of its fertiliser allocation from the Union Agriculture Department this year, while temporary supply disruptions were caused by shipping issues linked to the ongoing war. He reiterated that the government is committed to safeguarding farmers' interests.
