STF Seizes 263 kg Ganja Worth ₹1.32 Crore, Two Arrested in Interstate Smuggling Case

ଅନ୍ତଃରାଜ୍ୟ ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଚାଲାଣ ରାକେଟର ୨ ଜଣ ଗିରଫ । ୧ କୋଟି ୩୨ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କାର ୨୬୩ କେଜି ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଜବତ। କନ୍ଧମାଳରୁ ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡକୁ ବହୁ ପରିମାଣର ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଚାଲାଣ ହେଉଥିବା ଖବର ପାଇ ଏସଟିଏଫ୍ ଟିମ୍ ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥରେ ଛକି ରହିଥିଲା। ପୋଲିସ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ଦେଖି ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ ଗାଡ଼ିରେ ଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନେ ବାଙ୍କୁଆଳା ଅଭିମୁଖେ ଗାଡ଼ି ବୁଲାଇ ଖସିଯିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଥିଲେ।
The Odisha STF arrested two alleged members of an interstate ganja smuggling racket and seized 263 kg of cannabis (ganja) valued at approximately ₹1.32 crore. According to the source, the consignment was allegedly being transported from Kandhamal to Jharkhand when the STF team, acting on specific intelligence, laid an ambush on a National Highway. The source states that after noticing the police presence, the occupants of the suspected vehicle allegedly attempted to escape by turning the vehicle towards Bankuala. The STF subsequently intercepted the vehicle and seized the contraband.
