Once known as the symbol of hunger and administrative neglect, Nagada in Jajpur had shaken the state. While conditions there may have improved, a similar humanitarian concern has now surfaced in Odisha's Sundargarh district. A recent Sambalpur University study has revealed alarming levels of malnutrition and anaemia among the Paudi Bhuyan tribal community, particularly affecting women and children. Following the report, OTV visited the ground to assess the reality, uncovering a distressing picture that raises serious questions about the living conditions of one of Odisha's most vulnerable tribal communities.
