ନୀଳାଦ୍ରି ବିଜେର ପବିତ୍ର ଅବସରରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ବଡ଼ଠାକୁର ଶ୍ରୀବଳଭଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ପହଣ୍ଡି। ଘଣ୍ଟ, ଘଣ୍ଟା, କାହାଳୀ ଓ ହରିବୋଲ ଧ୍ୱନି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେବାୟତମାନେ ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ରୀତିନୀତି ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଶ୍ରୀବଳଭଦ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ତାଳଧ୍ୱଜ ରଥରୁ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ଆଡ଼କୁ ପହଣ୍ଡି କରାଉଛନ୍ତି। ପହଣ୍ଡିର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ବଡ଼ଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ଭିଡ଼ ଜମିଛି। ହୁଳହୁଳି, ଶଙ୍ଖଧ୍ୱନି ଓ ଜୟ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ନାମରେ ଭକ୍ତିମୟ ହୋଇଉଠିଛି ସମଗ୍ର ପରିବେଶ।
The sacred Pahandi procession of Lord Balabhadra has begun on the auspicious occasion of Niladri Bije in Puri. Following centuries-old traditions, temple servitors are ceremonially escorting the deity from the Taladhwaja Ratha towards the Shree Jagannath Temple amid the resonating sounds of bells, Kahali, and devotional chants. Lakhs of devotees have gathered on the Bada Danda (Grand Road) to witness the divine procession, while the atmosphere reverberates with Hulahuli, conch shells, and chants of "Jai Jagannath," marking one of the most sacred moments of the Rath Yatra festival.
