Kharvel Nagar Police Bust 'Jatia Gang', Three Arrested in Mobile Snatching Case

ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଖାରବେଳ ନଗର ଥାନା ପୋଲିସ କବ୍ଜାରେ ଜଟିଆ ଗ୍ୟାଙ୍ଗ ।ଏହି ଗ୍ୟାଙ୍ଗର ୩ ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରିଛି ପୋଲିସ । ଗିରଫ ୩ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦୁଇଜଣ ଲୁଟେରା ଏବଂ ଜଣେ ମୋବାଇଲ ଦୋକାନୀ ଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି । ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ୬ଟି ମୋବାଇଲ , କଟୁରୀ, ସ୍ପିଡ଼ ବାଇକ ଜବତ କରିଛି ପୋଲିସ । ଏହି ଗ୍ୟାଙ୍ଗ ସ୍ପିଡ଼ ବାଇକରେ ଆସୁଥିଲେ ଆଖି ପିଛୁଳାକେ ଝାମ୍ପି ନେଉଥିଲେ ମୋବାଇଲ । ଲୁଟ ମୋବାଇଲକୁ ବାପୁଜୀନଗରର ଏକ ମୋବାଇଲ ଦୋକାନରେ ବିକ୍ରି କରିଦେଉଥିଲେ । ମୋବାଇଲର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପାର୍ଟ୍ସ ଖୋଲି ଗ୍ରାହକଙ୍କୁ ବିକ୍ରି କରିଦେଉଥିଲେ । ଚୋରି କରିବା ସମୟରେ ବାଧାଦେଲେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରୁଥିଲେ । ପୋଲିସ ତଦନ୍ତ କରି ତିନିଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରିଛି ।....

Kharvel Nagar Police in Bhubaneswar have arrested three persons allegedly linked to the 'Jatia Gang', which was reportedly involved in mobile phone snatching incidents in the city.

According to police, the arrested individuals include two alleged snatchers and a mobile shop owner. Police seized six mobile phones, a sharp weapon and a speed bike from their possession during the operation.

Investigators alleged that the gang used high-speed motorcycles to snatch mobile phones and later sold the stolen devices to a mobile shop in Bapuji Nagar. The phones were allegedly dismantled and their parts sold to customers. Police further claimed that the accused would attack victims if they resisted during the snatching attempts.
