ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଲା ଲଘୁଚାପ। ଉତ୍ତରପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ଓ ସଂଲଗ୍ନ ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଉପକୂଳରେ ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ଏନେଇ IMD ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଆଗାମୀ ଦୁଇ ତିନି ଦିନ ଭିତରେ ଏହା ଆହୁରୀ ଘନିଭୁତ ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଆସନ୍ତା ସପ୍ତାହ ଯାଏଁ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି। ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବରଗଡ଼, ସୋନପୁର, ବୌଦ୍ଧ, କନ୍ଧମାଳ, ବଲଙ୍ଗିର, ନୁଆପଡ଼ା, ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର, କୋରାପୁଟ ଏବଂ ମାଲକାନଗିରି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପ୍ରବଳରୁ ଅତି ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି।
A low-pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha coast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said. The weather system is likely to intensify over the next two to three days, prompting a heavy rainfall alert across Odisha until next week. During the next 24 hours, Bargarh, Subarnapur (Sonepur), Boudh, Kandhamal, Balangir, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri districts are likely to receive heavy to extremely heavy rainfall. The IMD has advised caution as the low-pressure system is expected to influence weather conditions across the state.
