A shocking case of alleged domestic violence has surfaced from Jharsuguda district, where a woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband. The incident took place at Ghunghuti Pada in Hansamura-Kantapali area under Jharsuguda Sadar police limits on Saturday night.
According to reports, an argument broke out between the husband and wife, following which the husband allegedly became enraged and assaulted his wife with a wooden stick, leading to her death. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
Police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. The accused husband, identified as Rahul Bagh, has been detained, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
