ଦୁଇ ଦିନ ଧରି ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଲଘୁଚାପ ଜନିତ ବର୍ଷା ଲାଗି ରହିଛି। ସେହିଭଳି ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଲାଗି ରହିଛି ବର୍ଷା। ଉପର ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ବର୍ଷା ଲାଗି ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ବଢୁଛି ଜଳ ଭଣ୍ଡାରରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର। ଏହାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖି ଆଗୁଆ ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଜାରୀ କଲା ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଦିଗପହଣ୍ଡି ଘୋଡ଼ାହାଡ଼ ଜଳ ସେଚନ ବିଭାଜନ। ଡ୍ୟାମର ଜଳ ଧାରଣ କ୍ଷମତା ୧୧୭.୮୦ ମିଟର ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ବର୍ତମାନ ଡ୍ୟାମ ରେ ୧୧୭.୨୮ ମିଟର ଅର୍ଥାତ ୯୬ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ପାଣି ମହଜୁତ ରହିଛି।ଉପର ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ସମ୍ଭବ୍ୟ ବର୍ଷାକୁ ଆଖି ଆଗରେ ରଖି ଆଗୁଆ ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଜାରୀ କରିବା ସହ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗେଟ ଖୋଲାଯାଇଛି।
Continuous low-pressure-induced rainfall over the past two days has raised water levels across Ganjam district, prompting the Ghodahada Irrigation Division at Digapahandi to issue a precautionary advisory and open one gate of Ghodahada Dam. The reservoir, with a full capacity of 117.80 metres, has reached 117.28 metres, or nearly 96% of its storage level. Authorities have taken the preventive step in view of the possibility of further rainfall in the upper catchment areas, with water continuing to flow downstream.
