A key meeting was held regarding the 'Mahaprabhu Jagannath' animated film, following which Gajapati Maharaja Divyasingha Deb said discussions focused on promoting the culture and heritage of Lord Jagannath in the right manner. He noted that the matter related to the film is scheduled to come up before the High Court on Wednesday.
Reacting after the meeting, the Gajapati Maharaja said, "We will wait to see what decision the High Court takes. This is a very serious issue and one that concerns the hearts of every Jagannath devotee. We hope the controversy is resolved at the earliest in the best possible manner."
