Fresh River Breaches Worsen Flood Crisis in Jajpur, Thousands Marooned

ଯାଜପୁର ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣୀ ନଦୀରେ ଦୁଇଟି ଘାଇ। ବରି ବ୍ଲକ କିମ୍ଭିରିଆ ପାଳ ବାଙ୍କସାହି ନିକଟରେ ୨୦ ଫୁଟର ଘାଇ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ସେହିପରି ଚନ୍ଦନପୁର ନିକଟରେ ୩୦ ଫୁଟର ଘାଇ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ବିପଦ ସଂକେତ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି ବୈତରଣୀ। ବୈତରଣୀ ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଯୋଗୁ ବୁଢ଼ା ନଦୀର ଜଳ ସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି। ଯାହାଦ୍ବାରା ଅନେକ ଗାଁ ଜଳ ମଗ୍ନ ହୋଇଛି।
The flood situation in Odisha's Jajpur district has worsened after two fresh breaches were reported in the Brahmani River. A 20-foot breach has formed near Bankasahi in Kimbhiriapal under Bari block, while another 30-foot breach has been reported near Chandanpur. Meanwhile, the Baitarani River continues to flow above the danger level.
