ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ଫକିର ମୋହନ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ପରିସରରେ ବିଳମ୍ବିତ ରାତିରେ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି। ପରୀକ୍ଷା ବିଳମ୍ବକୁ ନେଇ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କରୁଥିବା ଘରୋଇ ନର୍ସିଂ କଲେଜର ଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ମାଡ଼ ଅଭିଯୋଗ । ଉତ୍ତେଜନା ଭିତରେ ଚେତାଶୂନ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି ହେଲେ କୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର ସନ୍ତୋଷ ତ୍ରିପାଠୀ । ଅଭିଯୋଗ ମୁତାବକ, ଏକ ଘରୋଇ ନର୍ସିଂ କଲେଜର ୪ ବର୍ଷର କୋର୍ସକୁ ୬ ବର୍ଷ ବିତିଯାଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷ ସପ୍ତମ ଓ ଅଷ୍ଟମ ସେମିଷ୍ଟର ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରାଉନାହାନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରତିବାଦରେ ଗତକାଲି ସକାଳୁ ଶତାଧିକ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ଧାରଣାରେ ବସିଥିଲେ ।
Tension gripped Fakir Mohan University in Balasore late at night after students of a private nursing college allegedly came under attack while protesting against the delay in their examinations. Amid the unrest, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Santosh Tripathy reportedly fell unconscious and was admitted to hospital. According to the allegations, students enrolled in a four-year nursing course have completed six years, yet the university has not conducted their Seventh and Eighth Semester examinations. Hundreds of students had been staging a sit-in protest on the university campus since morning, demanding the immediate conduct of the pending examinations.
