Continuous heavy rainfall has triggered a flood-like situation in the Samakei River in Telkoi Block of Keonjhar district. Swollen rivers and streams have disrupted normal life, with floodwaters flowing nearly 10 feet above the Ghurudia Nala bridge. As a result, Karadangi Gram Panchayat has been cut off from the rest of the region. The overflowing bridge has severely affected road connectivity, making movement difficult for local residents. The situation has worsened due to incessant rainfall, which has caused rivers and drainage channels to overflow, leading to widespread waterlogging and isolation in the affected area.
