The depression has crossed the North Odisha coast near Balasore and is expected to move west-northwest across North Odisha, adjoining South Jharkhand, and North Chhattisgarh over the next 24 hours. Under its influence, rainfall is likely to continue across Odisha. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Warning for Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, and Balangir, while Yellow Warnings have been issued for Cuttack, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, and Nayagarh.
