ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁରରେ ଝିଅର ଆତ୍ମାହୁତୀ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଘଟଣାରେ ପାପୀ ବାପା ଗିରଫ । ଝିଅର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଓ ପ୍ରମାଣ ଆଧାରରେ ବାପାକୁ ବାନ୍ଧିଲା ପୋଲିସ । ନିମଖଣ୍ଡି ଥାନା ନୋଚାପଡ଼ା ବାସୁଦେବ ନଗରରେ ଘଟିଥିଲା ଲଜ୍ଜାକର ଘଟଣା । ଏନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଲେ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଏସ୍ ପି ଆଲୋକ ଜେନା । ଘଟଣାର ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଆମେ ନିଜ ଆଡୁ ମାମଲା କରିଛୁ କହିଲେ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଏସପି । ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଧୀନ ଥିବା ଝିଅର ବୟାନ ରେକର୍ଡ ହୋଇଛି । ବାପାଙ୍କ ନାଁରେ ସେକ୍ସୁଆଲ ଆବିୟୁଜର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ରହିଛି। ଏ ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ କିଛି ଚାଟ୍ ବି ହସ୍ତଗତ ହୋଇ ଥିବା କହିଛନ୍ତି ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଏସ୍ ପି । ଯଦି ଆଉ କାହାର ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ଥିବ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବି ଛଡ଼ାଯିବ ନାହିଁ’।

Police have arrested the father in connection with the self-immolation attempt by his daughter in Berhampur. The arrest was made based on the survivor's allegations and available evidence, police said. The incident took place at Basudev Nagar in Nochapada under Nimakhandi Police Station limits.
Additional SP Alok Jena informed that police have registered a case on their own considering the seriousness of the matter. The statement of the girl, who is currently undergoing treatment in Bhubaneswar, has also been recorded. Allegations of sexual abuse have been levelled against the accused father, while investigators have reportedly obtained certain chats related to the case. Police said that action will also be taken against any other persons found involved during the investigation.
