A resident of the Joda area, identified as Rajesh Bose, allegedly lost nearly ₹3 lakh in a cyber fraud while booking a domestic LPG gas cylinder through an app. According to the source, the fraudsters allegedly hacked his phone during the booking process and siphoned off the money.
